Another week, another interesting trip. However this time instead of going to the primary school we went on an educational visit to the Gujarati Centre in Preston.

This trip was very helpful towards my knowledge in Hinduism as this was the first time I have met someone who followed this faith and the first time I was able to ask my own questions and really find a lot of new information out. The temple looked really well designed as they brought in designers from India to design certain parts of the temple, this really added to the temple in general. We went on a tour of the temple, they showed us the community room where people gather to discuss certain issues within the community.

Finally we had a go at meditation, which in my opinion is a lot more difficult than it looks and I struggled to do it for more than a couple of minuets. It then shocked me to here that in average people can do that three times a day for thirty minuets. I really enjoyed my day at the temple and I learned a lot while I was there.
